Laís Prado, the editor of Pasta Online, a digital magazine for the brazilian
advertising creative professional, asked me to submit, for the launch of its
first issue,
a short film showing a little bit of my everyday life here in LA.
Instead of showing the expected routine of an american advertising agency
(since they are the same here, in Brazil or Venus), I decided to focus on
something that affects my life and the decisions I make in all professional
and personal matters.
As anyone living outside his home country might agree, my days here are
experienced by two different sides: the brazilian one and the american one.
Sometimes they agree, sometimes they disagree. Sometimes it is a good
thing to have these two perspectives, sometimes it isn't.
To balance those two sides and to extract the best of them, has been my
everyday challenge for
the past 8 years. This is a little look at them meeting
for breakfast.
